|  Glasgow, Scotland Where ancient & modern collide- just finished watching Braveheart for the first time in many years, i'm now officially ready for scotland haha
- my visa appeal was approved!
- its looking as if i probably won't have to sell my car after all for scotland $ - by the grace of God and the generosity of many 16,200 (*edit) of 16,500 has been committed to allow me this incredibly opportunity with Nieu Communities
- leave in 1 week
- must eat as much tex mex as possible before takeoff

|    The way that I see it there are only 4 responses that people can take towards extreme poverty 1. you can believe that you are better than they are - so they aren't worth your time, energy, resources etc. 2. you can believe that it is somehow its justice - they deserve what they have and you deserve what you have 3. ignorance & avoidance & minimalization 4. being broken for the poor and choosing to respond *** oh and my visa application (to live in Scotland) was declined on a technicality and i am appealing but its not a certainty that i will win and time is winding down... so if you could lift that before God in prayer with me that would be wonderful |
